Star of the upcoming “Superman” movie comic book David Corensweth has been putting in a superheroic effort in preparation for his role as the Man of Steel. Taking part in the Manly Things (Sort Of) podcast, the actor revealed that he had gained impressive muscle mass by the time James Gunn started filmingSupermana.
“When we were preparing to shoot the movie, I weighed 238 pounds (108 kg – note “Movie News”). My maximum weight was 238 pounds, and I didn’t fit into any of my pants,” said the actor.
David Korensweth, who gained attention with the series “Politician” and “Hollywood”, admitted to the difficulties accompanying the maintenance of maximum weight throughout the filming of “Superman”. He noted that the physical changes to his body “made him uncomfortable” at first, as his body had not yet had time to adjust to the new weight. The actor recalled with a smile that he realized he was 2XL when he wore a Champion hoodie during a general reading of the script for the film.
